$5 Treasure

I hope the Holidays treated you all kindly.

For Christmas I decided to buy myself something.  I came across this fanpage on Facebook offering $5 jewelry.  At first I was skeptical because it was only $5, but I decided what could it hurt.

I got my jewelry and was shocked.  This was beautiful jewelry.  It was shiny, sturdy and not cheaply made like I feared.

I showed off the pieces I got and like me everyone was surprised at the quality for the price.  So, I decided why not, it might be fun to get into the world of Paparazzi Jewelry.  So I decided to sign up as a Consultant.

Take a look around my new shop at AffordableJewelryBoutique.  Everything is $5 plus shipping.  You won't be sorry.

You can also sign up to be a Consultant and make 45% commission off everything you sale.  You can read all about that here - Join My Team

Here are just a few goodies I have for sale now!

The Treat of Christmas Trades

This past week I agreed to doing an exchange with Soft Paw Creations for Christmas.  I had purchased from Michelle before so I knew I would love what I got.

I got my items today and they are even more beautiful and elegant than in the the pictures.  So I'm dedicating today to showing off some of her beautiful items.

Let me share a little about Michelle with you.  In Michelle's words: "Regardless of our age, gender or season, we are all unique individuals.  Every item I create belongs with someone special.  Life is full of chances for us to show the world what makes us unique.  So, take a look through my shop and find the item(s) that is just waiting for you.  If you don't see exactly what you wanted, send me a note and I would love to create a piece to fit you perfectly."

Red Agate Necklace - These wonderful red agate beads showcase the splendor of Mother Nature.  Each bead is unique in color and patter.

Turquoise Aqua Bracelet - I love the colors of the sea, and this handmade bracelet has a lot of them.  I have used glass turquoise beads, chalk turquoise, and Czech fire polished beads that shimmer in the light.

Cameo Necklace -  Cameo's are a symbol of times past, when romance was in the air and a racy date was riding in a carriage with the top up.

Handmade Rosary - Looking for the perfect gift?  This may be what you're looking for.

Take a look at all the other beautiful items Michelle is offering at Soft Paw Creations.  Use coupon code "winter12" at checkout for 15% off.  Don't forget to ask for a custom order if you need something special!

To Eat or Not To Eat

Over the past few months I've been on a Lifestyle Change, not a diet.  I've had great success both with weight loss and overall health.  Of course, since I've had such great results I wanted to share with everyone.  This included my parents.  They are in their 70's, have gotten quite chubby and with that has come high blood pressure (nearly stroke level w/medication),  high cholesterol and thyroid problems.  Here is where the frustration begins.

First off, between myself and my husband we have lost almost 40 pounds since August.  I no longer need anxiety meds or migraine medication.  So, I know that I have seen the difference in health results from changing what you put in your body.  I have talked to so many people with the same issues as my parents that have seen unbelievable results in their health, so I definitely wanted this for them too.

Mom, she is doing awesome with almost 4 inches overall lost.  Dad, well that's where the title comes from.  In 2 months the scale and measurements haven't moved.  He was frustrated and so was I.  So, this week we sat down and I said, "Let's go through your day and see what we need to change. What do you eat for breakfast?"  He says, "Well, every morning I have 4 pieces of toast with butter and brown sugar.  I do my exercises, skip lunch and if your mom doesn't feel like cooking supper I eat a bowl of cereal and bag of popcorn."  Do you see where I'm going with this?  This is not good for anyone.  I took a deep breath and said, "Dad you have to eat or your body goes into starvation mode and protects itself.  You have to eat, you need protein and 3 meals a day.  Brown sugar toast is not a meal."  Well, dad is the dad and doesn't care to be told what to do.  He simply replies, "If you don't eat, you don't gain weight.  It's simple math."

This weekend we are going to the store and he is picking out food to eat, that he will eat even if I have to go over there and fix it for him and sit at the table til he's done.

I'm hoping with adding food to his supplements he too will start to see a change.  Next week will definitely be interesting and I can't wait to update you on his progress.

Unexpected Treat

I went to this shop and immediately thought, "Wow".  She has everything.  You can tell there is a lot of work and pride in this shop.  So what's the shop?  Jewellery Bijou, but don't look at Jewellery and this it's just about necklaces, earrings and bracelets.  How about Leg Warmers, Neck Warmers, Gloves and a Romantic Section.  Shop owner Dorota, puts it great, "Each piece is waiting for the right person to ROCK it".  She would love you to give her feedback and let her create something just for you.

Want to see some of these items that have got me so excited?  Here ya go.

The first thing I saw was bright red and such a deep black.  It just draws you eyes to it.  Made just for you with black fringe and satin bows attached to this red ribbed cotton tank.

Conversation Glass

Happy Friday Everyone!

Today I want to show off this awesome shop Conversation Glass.  They use recycled glass bottles to make some amazing products.  From tumblers, glasses to wind chimes, there are beautiful pieces waiting for you.

When I looked at this shop it reminded of my grandmas house.  She had colored glass everywhere.  There were no plastic glasses or vases.  It was all blue, yellow and green glass.  You don't see that anymore.  Thats why I love this shop.

Let me show you some of my favorites:

Wine Glass Bottles

Green Champagne Glasses

Cobalt Blue Wind Chime

Rare Vodka Vase

These are my absolute favorites:

Frosted Tea Light Holders

Wine Bottle Candle Holders

I hope you've enjoyed seeing this beautiful artwork.  Maybe this has given you some ideas for your home decor or that perfect, unique gift.  Don't forget the holidays are coming!

What's your favorite in their shop?  I'd love to hear from you.

Oh Yes I Can

The last 5 weeks have been great.  I'm so glad I took the 1st step even though my hopes weren't high.  I have tried starving myself to lose weight and of course that didn't work.  I've tried starving myself and exercising and while both of those might have dropped some weight I sure didn't feel good.

I feel like a new person.  I'm down 13 pounds and 4 inches.  Migraine free, energy to burn and a calm mind. I still eat whatever I want but I just can't eat the amount I did 5 weeks ago.  I go far a walk/jog at my pace at least 3 times a week and it seems like every time I feel like going a little further.

My husband was told 6 weeks ago he was 44 pounds overweight with the age of a 65 yr old man.  He is 39.  He was told there was so much weight on his stomach he was a candidate for a stroke or heart attack.  So, we got started the next week.  He is now down 14 pounds and 3 inches.

If your body is hungry to be healthy you have to give it healthy things. These vitamin supplements are designed to work slowly through your system so you can absorb it, rather than it being flushed out of your system.  They will boost your energy, curb your appetite, help regulate blood sugar levels and rev up your metabolism.  It's amazing what happens when we give our bodies what they need to function properly.

I encourage each of you to consider the following:
Are you tired?
Do you wake up tired?
Are you overweight?
Do you suffer from health problems and know you aren't as healthy as you should be?
If you can say yes to any of these then why not jump on board with me and get started?  All of these products are all natural, organic.  Not to mention you have a 100% money back guarantee.

All of the products can be found here https://www.xyngular.com/apelton/products/ don't hesitate to ask if you are unsure what works for you.
